Installing

Requires Bitfocus Companion 4.3 or later on Mac, Windows or Linux. Tested on Companion 5.0.4 with K-Frame V14 and V18.

  1. Download grassvalley-kframe-2.0.0.tgz above. Leave it as a .tgz file; don't unzip it.
  2. In Companion, open Modules, click Import module package and choose the downloaded file.
  3. Open Connections, add Grass Valley KFrame, enter the frame's IP address, tick the suites you use (Suites 1–4), and save. The suites connect one at a time and turn green when connected.
  4. Open Buttons, then the Presets tab, choose Grass Valley KFrame and drag buttons onto your pages.

Developer folder (optional)

To run it as a development module instead:

  1. Make an empty folder, for example companion-dev-modules.
  2. Extract the .tgz into it, so you have companion-dev-modules/grassvalley-kframe/.
  3. In the Companion launcher window, open settings (the gear), turn on Developer settings, and set the Developer modules path to that folder.
  4. Restart Companion. The connection list then shows Grass Valley KFrame marked as dev.
